Tis the season of Adam Driver. The megastar has three buzzy films hitting theaters practically back-to-back.
"The idea of taking months off was never in my DNA," Driver said on "Popcorn with Peter Travers." "Taking time off wasn't something that I'm used to, I guess."
This weekend, Driver can be seen opposite Scarlett Johannson in "Marriage Story," a film Travers said, "is one of those rare times where a movie turns out perfect."
The story centers on couple struggling through a grueling divorce. Driver said he was moved by the writing and direction of the film.
"The language was beautiful in and of itself," Driver, 35, told Travers. "But when you have to say it to someone else, it was more emotional than I thought it was going to be."

"The Report" will be the next Driver driven film to hit theaters. It's a political thriller based on real-life events about the investigation into the CIA's Detention and Interrogation Program created after 9/11. Driver plays Daniel J. Jones, the staffer tasked with heading up the investigation. He said he approached the role with an open mind.
"With the big themes of the movies, even with "Marriage Story," I don't try to think about it. You try to just find the humanity in the scenes that you're shooting," he said.
Travers asked if Driver is as comfortable starring in the big blockbusters like 'Star Wars' as he is with the other smaller films.
"I learned to be comfortable in it just because it was unfamiliar to me when we first started with 'Force Awaken's,'" Driver said, "not so much in how we were working on it. There were so many special effects and so many people. I was used to just smaller groups of people in small rooms. And suddenly the set in itself is a huge theater for a hundred people. It took me a while to get used to the rhythm."
Driver returns as leading villain Kylo Ren, in what will be the final episode of the nine-part "Skywalker saga." "Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker" hits theaters Dec. 20.
