Pixar just announced a new slate of content coming exclusively to Disney+ when it launches on Nov. 12.
Everything from original programming to a number of titles from Pixar Animation Studios is on its way to meet subscribers at launch of the streaming platform.
The announcement also includes the debut of a new collection of animated short films called "Spark Shorts."
The first six titles, which Pixar describes as "artists' projects," were revealed. The new shorts are designed to discover new storytellers and explore new storytelling techniques from across the studio.
A slew of original content with characters we all already know are on the docket.
'Pixar IRL'
In this short-form series, Pixar characters are brought to life, surprising real people on location and viewers at home.
'Forky Asks A Question'
Forky, from Disney and Pixar’s "Toy Story 4," is a craft project created from trash, so he has important questions about how the world works, such as, "What is love?" and "What is time?"
He explores all of these questions and more in a collection of 10 shorts.
All these titles will join fan-favorite Pixar films like "WALL-E," "Monsters, Inc.," "Finding Nemo," "Inside Out" and more as the studio bets big on housing characters new and old under one roof to drive its success in the direct-to-consumer market.
