Cardi B has filed for divorce from her husband, fellow rapper Offset, after three years of marriage.

The "WAP" rapper filed for divorce from the Migos member on Tuesday at the Fulton County Superior Courthouse in Atlanta, ABC News confirmed.

In a court filing, Cardi B, whose given name is Belcalis Almanzar, says the marriage is "irretrievably broken" and "there are no prospects for a reconciliation." She also petitioned for primary custody of the estranged couple's daughter, Kulture, 2.

Representatives for Cardi B and Offset did not respond to requests for comment.

Cardi secretly married Offset, who was born Kiari Cephus, on Sept. 20, 2017. She confirmed the marriage the following year while announcing they were expecting a daughter.

The couple has had a tumultuous relationship. In early 2019, just weeks after announcing that she and Offset had split, Cardi B told Vogue magazine that he'd cheated, and she'd forgiven him.

"A lot of people were so mad at me; a lot of women felt disappointed in me," she said. "But it’s real-life s---. If you love somebody and you stop being with them, and you’re depressed and social media is telling you not to talk to that person because he cheated, you’re not really happy on the inside until you have the conversation."

In a September cover story for Elle magazine, the "Bodak Yellow" rapper shared details about her upcoming new music, saying it would speak to her "personal relationship" and the "rumors" and "drama" she's dealt with.

"There's a lot of love, there's a lot of passion, there's a lot of trust, there's a big friendship," Cardi said. "It's always us against the world."

"If you all are so curious to know about my relationship and blah, blah, blah, I'm going to put it in the music, and you can buy it, too," she continued. "I'm not going to give it to you all for free."
