We're officially in the "Endgame" now.
The world watched Monday night as "Avengers: Endgame" celebrated its premiere in Los Angeles, where stars and producers of the film wouldn't spoil the hyped blockbuster but did tease clues and secrets of what's to come. Well, that's if they knew anything about the film.
(MORE: 'Avengers: Endgame' star says 'pretty certain' movie lives up to hype)"Endgame" is a follow to last year's "Infinity War" and this film will be a transition piece into the next phase of superhero films, according to Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige.
The Marvel Cinematic Universe runs in phases and the first phase is the characters' origin stories. We are now at the end of phase three and have seen more than 20 Marvel films.
Fans can expect to shed tears later this week as they might have to say goodbye to some of their favorite characters like Captain America and Iron Man. No one knows for sure. The film is so secret that the stars said they even don't know how it ends, just seeing it for the first time last night.

He also knows possibly losing some of his fellow actors and dear friends is a bitter pill to swallow.
"I think all of us knew that this is then end of phase three for Marvel," he added. "No better way to do it then and a bitter sweet quality for the whole experience."
Chris Evans posted a heartfelt note a few months back about possibly saying goodbye to his beloved Captain America, though his exit has not been confirmed or denied at this point. He told ABC News Monday night that he's "trying to be here for these moments" in his life, the culmination of almost 10 years as the iconic superhero.
"I look back and see how it’s changed my life and my family’s life," Evans added.
Paul Rudd, who plays Ant-Man, wouldn't even tell his own kids what he knows despite repeated pleas from his daughter.
"She promises she won't tell anybody, but she's 9 and I don't believe her," he joked.
Josh Brolin, who plays the main villain Thanos, said he doesn't "know whats going to happen."
Another Marvel veteran, Scarlett Johansson, said this film "feels like the end of something, but the beginning of something else."
Finally, Feige said the movie will deliver "all the feels" and hopes it leaves fans "satisfied" and "surprised."
One final surprise: Natalie Portman attended the premiere last night after it was widely reported that she was out of the MCU. Could this be a cameo or is she there supporting Disney + for an upcoming documentary she is narrating? Only time will tell.
"Avengers: Endgame" opens nationwide on Friday.
