WATCH: Congrats to Olivia Colman for winning Best Actress at the 2019 Oscars

Talk about meta: "The Crown" star Olivia Colman met Princess Anne at Buckingham Palace on Thursday.

Colman, who will replace Claire Foy as Queen Elizabeth for season three, was presented with a CBE for her work in drama by the queen's daughter.

The actress, who received the award under her given name, Sarah Sinclair, did not speak to reporters at the ceremony.

Colman, 45, won an Oscar earlier this year for her work on the film, "The Favourite."
