Luke Bryan's residency is almost here!
The singer's nine-show run kicks off this Friday at The Theatre at Resorts World Las Vegas. The other eight shows are scheduled for Feb. 12, 16, 18, 19, 20, 23, 25 and 26.
Ahead of the highly anticipated Vegas concerts, Bryan appeared on "Good Morning America" to share what he's looking forward to most about performing in such an iconic location.
"The thing about Las Vegas is everybody's here to have a good time, so when you're able to put on a show and the vibe is already really energetic and kind of a party, it just adds to the overall feel of the show," he said Monday.

"I've never done an extended residency in Las Vegas, so it's just going to be amazing that I can literally ease out of my hotel room, ride the elevator down and clock into work," he said.
"I'm excited to see the show come together," he added. "We got a lot of work to do all week. I'm out here all week rehearsing to get ready for Friday night."
The residency will also be a family affair for the Bryan family. "My mother, she's already punched her ticket," he said. "What's the big shopping center out here? Crystals and all that. My credit card will be in flames by Friday."
Bryan said that his fellow "American Idol" judge Katy Perry, who currently has her own Las Vegas residency, hasn't given him much advice.
"Katy doesn't help me at all -- anything Katy does, she spins stuff to create more anxiety," he said. "She's like, 'Wow, big stage -- be ready. Wow, get ready for the dry air of Las Vegas.'"

"Me and her, even as the years have gone, we just have an even more fun friendship and a great working relationship," Bryan continued. "You know, she's really a little jealous because she believes that Orlando might have a little man crush on me. Orlando came into Nashville and I had all these outdoor activities planned for him, so me and Orlando, our love is strong."
Bryan's residency comes after he recently released the music video for his latest single, "Up."
The emotional video features the singer watching home movies from his childhood.
"I didn't get to see that footage until actually the shooting of the video," Bryan said. "So I'm kind of watching that in real-time also, so it was a really special moment and [I] just love how the video came together."
One scene from the video features Bryan's late brother Chris, who died in a car accident at age 26. Bryan previously described seeing the footage as "overwhelming."
The singer said he gets vulnerable with his music to help others.
"I think me telling my story of what my family has been through -- we've always put it out there and told the world all of the ups and downs and challenges that my family's been through -- so I think that when I do that, I think it helps people that have been in similar scenarios not feel alone," he said.
