Salma Hayek shared a sweet message for fellow actor Anthony Hopkins to congratulate him on his surprise Oscar win.

To celebrate his victory, the actress posted a video on Tuesday of herself dancing with Hopkins, who won the award for best actor at the 93rd Academy Awards Sunday.

Alongside the clip of the pair moving to the tune "Dance Me to the End of Love" by Leonard Cohen, she wrote, "Celebrating with the king @anthonyhopkins đź‘‘ his 2nd Oscar for his extraordinary performance in 'The Father.'"

Hopkins appeared to appreciate the shout-out, commenting, "Thank you queen 👸🏻 for the love and laughter. A memorable, beautiful day."

To celebrate Anthony Hopkins’ Oscar award, Hayek shared a video of the two of them dancing to “Dance Me to the End of Love” by Leonard Cohen.

Many took to Twitter to voice their surprise at the clip, unaware that the two knew each other. However, Hopkins and Hayek's friendship appears to go back many years, as Hayek attended Hopkins' Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony in 2003.

The Welsh actor's win at the 2021 Oscars was somewhat of a shock to many, as most expected late actor Chadwick Boseman, who died in August after battling colon cancer, to win the award his role in "Ma Rainey's Black Bottom."
