Several people were seriously hurt in a hot air balloon crash in southern Nevada, authorities said.
Ten people were on board when the balloon "landed hard" in Pahrump around 7 a.m. Thursday, according to the Federal Aviation Administration.
The Nye County Sheriff's Office said one passenger suffered a severe head injury, "several" had 2nd-degree or 3rd-degree burns, and others suffered blunt force injuries.
The FAA is investigating.
