Christie Brinkley is a supermodel, businesswoman and maybe a hairstylist?
Earlier this week, she posted a before photo of her daughter Alexa Ray Joel's long brunette hair that hit a little past her waistline. Once you swipe right for the next photo, there is an after-photo of Joel with shorter hair a tad past her shoulders.
"Hair Today Gone Tomorrow," Brinkley captioned the series of photos. She said that Joel asked her to cut her hair because she wanted a change.
Brinkley added, "She wanted Sass with Class and I think we did it."
As she confidently poses for each photo, Joel seems to be loving her new look. Her husband, Ryan Gleason, also is caught in one of the photos smiling at his wife's new 'do.
Joel's new haircut was also topped with face-framing layers and lots of volume. "Voilà! My beautiful baby," said Brinkley."
Brinkley's haircutting skills have garnered the attention of more than 18,000 people along with lots of comments.
"You have actually done a really great job here. Looks really professional," one person said. Another chimed in, saying, "New cut really suits her. She's even more classier now. Always beautiful inside & out."
A few days before debuting her hairstyling skills on Joel, many fans were quick to notice Brinkley's shorter hair length in a few family photos she shared on Instagram.
One person questioned, "New cut? you know I love the straight hair." Another said, "The best haircut yet!"
