Disneyland Resort has announced the Avengers Campus at California Adventure Park will open on June 4.

The Avengers Campus will be a new themed land focused on Marvel superheroes. It was originally supposed to open on July 18, 2020, but was pushed back due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The new date comes after Disneyland announced plans to reopen on April 30.

Guests can look forward to classic heroes appearing at the park in new ways.

Spider-Man will show up in the family friendly attraction "WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure," where actor Tom Holland will reprise his role as Peter Parker.

The 3D experience will bring guests in groups of eight aboard the Web Slinger, a vehicle invented by Parker and the Worldwide Engineering Brigade team, to destroy Spider-Bots running amok.

Trees will be planted around the Sanctum to give it an ethereal and quiet feel, marking a noticeable difference from the rest of the area. In keeping with the sorcerer's powers, lighting, colors, special effects and sound will be used to immerse guests in a mystical world.

The existing "Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission Breakout" attraction, which throws guests up and down in rapid succession to help Rocket free his friends from the Collector, will be part of it as well.

Guests will be able to see their favorite Avengers -- from originals like Iron Man and Black Widow to newer ones like Black Panther and Captain Marvel -- walking around and even be able to interact with characters like General Okoye and Loki.

Visitors can dine at the Pym Test Kitchen at the Avengers Campus at Disney California Adventure Park in Anaheim, Calif., which is set to open on June 4, 2021.

Ant-Man and the Wasp will also be making their Disneyland Resort debut. A new dining area, Pym Test Kitchen, will have food options that are either supersized or shrunken due to the use of Pym Particle technology.

For food, choices range from the Not So Chicken Little Sandwich, made with normal-sized buns and a comically large chicken breast, to a pasta dish with vegetarian meatballs served in a giant spoon.

One dish at the Pym Test Kitchen in the Avengers Campus at Disney California Adventure Park in Anaheim, Calif., will feature pasta under giant vegetarian meatballs served in an oversized spoon with a tiny fork.

There will be drink options for both kids and adults. Particularly fun is the reverse draft system that fills glasses from the bottom, an Easter egg that references when Thor visited Doctor Strange in "Thor: Ragnarok" and the god's beer mug magically refilled itself.

When Disneyland reopens it doors on April 30, it will be operating at limited capacity in order to comply with health and safety guidelines. Currently, only California residents will be permitted park entry, and proof of residency will be required.

The Avengers and Marvel are owned by Walt Disney Co., the parent company of ABC News.
