Amy Schumer Photobombs Kim Kardashian and Kanye West

— -- For Amy Schumer, the party started before she made it inside Tuesday night's Time 100 Gala.

The comedian photobombed Kim Kardashian and Kanye West on the red carpet, pretending to trip in front of them.

"I saw them, and I asked my publicist, 'Can I dive in front of them and act like I fell?' And she said, 'I can't stop you,'" the "Inside Amy Schumer" star told People magazine. "I just dove right down!"

And in spite of what may have looked like a sneer from the rapper, Schumer, 33, told the magazine that in reality, he laughed it off.

"I talked to them. They were like, 'What?' Kim was worried for me, and I think Kanye was just, like, scared that I was doing something," she said. "They were really sweet. Kim was really funny. She goes, 'Oh my God, I was like, does this girl need help?' She was like, 'That was really funny.'"

In the end, the comedian, who made Time's 100 Most Influential People list this year along with West, 37, said she has no regrets about the stunt.

"They were right there! The epicenter of American. Gotta do it," she said. "It was the best."
