"Shrimp-gate" boiled over into Monday's episode of "The Bachelor," which opened with Clayton Echard pulling Shanae and Elizabeth aside in hopes of settling their dispute.

Unfortunately, the meeting ended in frustration when the dispute, which started over cooked shrimp, turned into a heated argument.

The other women were solidly in Elizabeth's corner, but Clayton saw things differently and he sent her packing at the rose ceremony. Kira and Melina were also eliminated.

Then, for the first time in two years, Clayton and the girls set off on an international journey to find love, starting in Houston, Texas.

However, any hope of leaving the drama behind quickly vanished when Shanae overheard the others plotting to get her sent home. A group date saw Shanae and the ladies playing a high stakes game of football, with the winners spending time with Clayton and the losers -- which included Shanae -- going home. Refusing to stand idly by and let the others carry out their plan, she crashed the party.

This led to an explosive confrontation between Shanae and the women, particularly Genevieve and Sierra.

How will Clayton deal with this latest dispute? We'll have to wait to find out, although a teaser for next week's episode hints at a two-on-one date with Shanae and Genevieve.

Elsewhere, Rachel joined Clayton for a drama-free one-on-one date that featured horseback riding and a down-home, Texas-style family barbecue, followed by a surprise musical performance from country band Restless Road. The night ended with Rachel picking up the date rose.

Here are the other women still in the running:

Eliza, 25, a marketing manager from Berlin
Gabby, 30, an ICU nurse from Denver
Genevieve, 26, a bartender from Los Angeles
Hunter, 28, a human resources specialist from Charlotte, North Carolina
Jill, 26, an architectural historian from Scituate, Rhode Island
Lyndsey W., 28 an industrial sale representative from Houston
Mara, 32, an entrepreneur from Collingswood, New Jersey
Marlena, 30, a former Olympian from Gainesville, Florida
Rachel, 25, a flight instructor from Clermont, Florida
Sarah, 23, a wealth management advisor from New York
Serene, 26, an elementary school teacher from Oklahoma City
Shanae, 29, a recruiter from Sycamore, Ohio
Sierra, 26, a yoga instructor from Dallas
Susie, 28, a wedding videographer from Virginia Beach, Virginia
Teddi, 24, a surgical unit nurse from Highland, California

"The Bachelor" returns Monday at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
