'Bachelorette' Kaitlyn Bristowe Defends Chris 'Cupcake'

— -- After Kaitlyn Bristowe dumped Nashville dentist Chris Strandburg on Monday night's episode of "The Bachelorette," she flew away in a helicopter while he hysterically sobbed on a cliff in Ireland.

Though he was mercilessly mocked later on social media, Strandburg has a sense of humor about it.

"Hey Tanner," he tweeted to a fellow contestant, "do you have any more of those tissues you brought out of the limo?"

During a one-on-one date, Bristowe surprised Strandburg by telling him she didn't see a future with him. After the episode aired, however, she shared a photo from their date and wrote words of support.

"A lot of respect for Chris," she wrote. "One of a kind #TheBachelorette #cupcake"
