Bethenny Frankel is looking to shake up the dating world.

The entrepreneur and former "Real Housewives of New York City" star announced her new "dating concept" this week, called The Core, explaining the idea in a social media post on Wednesday.

"The dating industry has become a billion dollar distraction built on keeping people stuck. The Core exists for those who want real connection without the games," a post on The Core's Instagram page reads.

The post includes a video of Frankel speaking to the camera about The Core and the broader dating industry, which she describes as "a multi-billion dollar failing business."

In the video, Frankel says matchmaking services and dating apps and websites are flawed in various ways, and that The Core tackles those issues head on.

"I have created a community at large that's based on intention, integrity, transparency, getting you what you really want and what you actually deserve," she says.

According to Frankel, The Core includes "offers," "experiences" and "events" on top of dating opportunities.

"We have incredible people. People who want life partners right now," she says.

A description on the new dating concept's website states that The Core is "a society of intention at a time when people are craving human connection in an increasingly tech-driven world."

The website details the requirements to enter that "society," stating, "We operate with a strict barrier to entry and an even stricter standard for conduct. To ensure the highest caliber experience, we reserve the right to revoke membership at any time for those who do not align with our principles."

The site displays two membership options, including a "community member" tier, for people who are "primarily interested in curated content and access to membership exclusives, which may include, but are not limited to, experiences, events, promotions, and other perks," and a "connection member" tier, which caters to those "looking for a life partner," according to the description.

"This membership offers private, curated experiences and personalized, high-touch connections crafted to foster real, meaningful relationships," the description for the latter option reads.

According to Bloomberg, initiation fees for the "connection" membership will start $1,200, while initiation fees for the "community" membership will start at $50. Applicants must write a statement of intent and undergo a review process, according to the outlet.

The product has so far been tested by a pool of roughly 150 individuals, per Bloomberg.
