Who Is Courtney Alexis Stodden?

BySHEILA MARIKAR

June 22, 2011 — -- A beauty queen, an aspiring country singer, a victim of bullying: Courtney Alexis Stodden, 16, is all these things, in addition to being the new wife of "Green Mile" and "Lost" actor Doug Hutchison, 51.

Since the two announced their marriage Monday, interest in Stodden has spiked. If Internet fame is what she wanted, she's got it. The video for her song "Don't Put It on Me" in which she repeats "Don't put it on me girl, don't put it on me girl, no" while sitting in a boat with a pink-haired dog, has been viewed nearly 700,000 times on YouTube.

A second music video titled "Car Candy" shows Stodden gyrating on the top of a convertible wearing a camouflage tank top crooning "Your fuel injection really turns me on."

But things weren't always so swell for the Washington state native. In another YouTube video, Stodden details her struggles with Internet bullies who've called her "fake," "vain" and a "slut."

As to whether any part of her is "fake," Stodden asserts, "My breasts are real. Everything about me is real. My hair is real. My teeth are real. My eyelashes are real. My breasts are totally real, believe it or not, they are."

Stodden made her foray into the entertaiment industry by participating in beauty pageants (she competed for the title of Miss Teen Washington USA last year). She still models. One modeling website lists her measurements (36-23-34) height (5 feet 3 inches) and weight (96 pounds). That same website also lists her age as 17, which combined with her heavily made-up appearance, has led critics to wonder whether she's lying about being younger.

How did this petite package from the Northwest end up with an aging Hollywood character actor? The fact that Stodden is signed to Hutchison's production company, Dark Water, might have something to do with it. In any case, her parents approve. Stodden's mother gave parental consent so that the two could wed in Las Vegas.

"We are totally supportive of this marriage," Krista Stodden told RadarOnline.com. "Doug is a wonderful man, and we love him."

She added, "Courtney was a virgin when she married Doug. She is a good Christian girl."

Although Stodden's father is four years younger than his new son-in-law, he approves of his daughter's decision.

"Every father can only pray to have such a man behind their daughter," Alex Stodden, 47, told RadarOnline.com. "Courtney is one of the most level-headed girls out there, and I'm not just saying that because she's my daughter. ... Doug is the nicest man I've ever met in my life."
