— -- Rosie O'Donnell said goodbye to "The View" Thursday, for the second time.

The comedian was welcomed to the Hot Topics table for her final show as the audience chanted her name, "Rosie! Rosie!"

Last week, ABC confirmed that O'Donnell would be leaving the show. The host, who recently split from her wife, Michelle Rounds, explained her decision in more detail.

"The truth is, I had a heart attack two years ago and stress is very bad for a heart attack survivor," she said in a video for fans. "I'm minimizing my stress by leaving 'The View.' The stress I'm having at home is not easily as remediable. ... It's hard, marriages are complicated and I've got five kids ... There's lots of stuff going on at home."

During the final moment of Thursday's broadcast, O'Donnell addressed the viewers.

"I just want to say thank you to all the cast here and the crew and mostly to Barbara Walters, who has always looked out for me in my life and career, and is an amazing woman. We had lunch yesterday and she sends her love. And I want to thank her for making this show and letting me be on it twice," she said. "We've had fun and I hope we're gonna have more and I'll come back and do an occasional crafting segment because I have a hot glue gun and I will travel!"

O’Donnell first left "The View" in 2007. She returned last September for the launch of the show's 18th season, along with new co-hosts Nicole Wallace and Rosie Perez, as well as returning moderator Whoopi Goldberg.
