Dolly Parton rocked the house with the premiere performance of her newly released song "World On Fire" to close out the ACM Awards Thursday evening.
The award-winning artist dropped the track hours before the show to promote her forthcoming, first rock album, "Rockstar."
Along with performing, Parton also co-hosted the awards show alongside fellow country hitmaker Garth Brooks.
Parton shared in a statement that she was "very inspired" while writing the new track.
"I think it speaks about everything and to everyone this day and time," she said. "I hope it is something that will touch you and maybe touch enough people to want to make a change for the better."
