Dwyane Wade adorably crashes marriage proposal
Usually when someone crashes an event it's not something to be excited about, but when that person happens to be NBA baller Dwyane Wade, well, that's a different story.
The Miami Heat player was casually strolling the beach in Montecito, California, and walked past where Ryan Basch decided to get down on one knee and pop the question to his girlfriend, Katie Ryan. Wade was moved by the romantic gesture and, thanks to the couple's photographer, his reaction was caught on camera.
In one of the snapshots, Ryan is grinning from ear to ear while the basketball star is seen in the background with a hand on his heart as he looks over at the pair.
Another photo shows Wade actually make his way over and pose for a photo with Basch and his now-fiancée.
"When @dwyanewade happens to be taking a sunset stroll on the beach and walks by mid-proposal," Basch captioned the snapshots, which he shared to Instagam.
Wade reposted the photos and shared, "It was so dope to witness you guys love!" And, in a direct message he added, "I need y'all marriage to work. It's now on my conscious[sic] haha."
Basch, clearly thrilled about meeting the icon, posted screenshots of both messages, along with the caption, "Hahahahaha this is insane!!! @dwyanewade you’re the man!"
In an Instagram Story, Basch also told Wade that he and his wife, Gabrielle Union, will be getting an invite to his wedding with Ryan.
