With Halle Bailey already cast as the lead in "The Little Mermaid," all the young singer and actress needs is her prince ... Prince Eric to be exact.

Now who could fill this role as a dashing young man, with a voice like an angel and flowing hair as glorious as the sun setting? Harry Styles of course!

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Styles is currently in talks to play the prince.

With Rob Marshall, this is sure to be a hit if Styles joins this live-action retelling.

Fans agree and are absolutely losing their mind at the possibility.

"Harry Styles playing as Prince Eric is what we ALL deserve," one fan wrote.

The side-by-side comparisons kept coming.

"If Harry Styles gets cast as prince eric i will literally audition to play a grain of sand," another wrote.

But Styles isn't the only exciting possible addition to this blockbuster.

Melissa McCarthy and Lizzo have both been rumored for the role of the dreaded Ursula, the woman who takes Ariel's glorious voice. Variety had McCarthy joining the cast last month, though nothing has been officially announced.

Lizzo, herself, posted what looks to be an open audition tape.

"I’M URSULA. PERIOD," she tweeted to Disney.

Actor Terry Crews also sent a fun video, auditioning for the role of the king or maybe Sebastian, singing "Under the Sea."

We'll basically watch Lizzo and Crews do anything, so keep the videos coming!
