Kelly Clarkson returned to her eponymous talk show Monday for the first time since the death of her ex-husband Brandon Blackstock.

Clarkson didn't address Blackstock's death on her show on Monday, which included guests Margot Robbie and Colin Farrell, and heroes from the July floods in Texas.

Blackstock, who is the father of Clarkson's two children, daughter River, 10, and son Remy, 8, died in August after a long battle with cancer. He was 48.

The news of Blackstock's death came one day after Clarkson took to social media on Aug. 6 to announce she was postponing the remainder of her Las Vegas Studio Session residency dates that month in order to be "fully present" for her kids.

"While I normally keep my personal life private, this past year, my children's father has been ill and at this moment, I need to be fully present for them," she wrote at the time. "I am sincerely sorry to everyone who bought tickets to the shows and I so appreciate your grace, kindness and understanding."

Clarkson returned on Monday for the seventh season of her Emmy Award-winning show.

According to an NBC press release, production for the new season began during the week of Sept. 8 at its studio in New York City.

This season's premiere week will honor Texas flooding heroes and more, according to the press release.

Guests slated to make an appearance this season also include Marion Cotillard, Matthew McConaughey, Julia Roberts, Lionel Richie and Sylvester Stallone.

Clarkson will complete the remainder of her scheduled Vegas performances in November. Shows that were canceled in August have been postponed to 2026, according to Caesar's Palace.
