Madonna says her Coachella outfits are missing, and she's offering a reward for anyone who can help locate them.

The queen of pop performed alongside Sabrina Carpenter as her surprise guest at Coachella on Friday night, marking her return to the long-running music festival after she performed two decades ago in 2006.

In an Instagram story post on Monday, Madonna wrote that she was "still flying high" following her performance with Carpenter, calling it a "thrill" and thanking "everyone who made it possible."

She wrote that her excitement quickly faded after she learned several clothing items she had worn for the show had gone missing.

"This full circle moment hit different until I discovered that the vintage pieces that I wore went missing- my costume that was pulled from my personal archives - jacket, corset, dress and all other garments," she wrote.

She added, "These aren't just clothes, they are part of my history."

Madonna said she is "offering a reward for their safe return," but did not specify the type of reward or an amount.

She asked that anyone with information reach out to her team to help locate the items.

She added, "Thank you with all My Heart."

The Indio Police Department told ABC News on Tuesday that Madonna's Coachella outfits, which were reported missing on Saturday, appear to have fallen off a golf cart during transport, and do not appear to have been taken deliberately. Police said someone may have picked up the bags containing the outfits without realizing what was inside.

Authorities said there is no record of any lost property having been reported so far.

"Preliminary investigation indicates the two bags containing the items may have fallen off a golf cart operated by staff who were on their way to load the bags onto a bus. Upon arriving at the hotel shortly thereafter, the staff realized the bags were missing," the department said in a statement. "At this time, there is no evidence to suggest the bags were intentionally stolen. However, the Indio Police Department is asking anyone who may have located the bags to please turn them in at 46800 Jackson Street in Indio or contact the department at (760) 391-4057."

ABC News has reached out to Madonna's representatives for comment.
