See 'The Santa Clauses' season 2 trailer starring Tim Allen, Eric Stonestreet and more
The trailer for "The Santa Clauses" season 2 is here.
In the new trailer, which dropped Tuesday, the Calvin family returns to the North Pole. Tim Allen, who plays Santa Clause/Scott Calvin, tells his family that he wants to make Santa into a family business.
Scott says in the next clip that he believes his son Cal has what it takes to be the next Santa.
The upcoming season also includes others appearing to be Santa.
The series is based on the 1994 film also starring Allen, in which his character Scott accidentally causes Santa to fall off his roof on Christmas Eve and subsequently finds himself recruited to take Santa's place. The film spawned several sequels and a short film, "True Confessions of the Legendary Figures."
In addition to Allen, who serves as an executive producer in addition to starring in the series, Elizabeth Mitchell returns as Mrs. Claus/Carol, Austin Kane returns as Cal Calvin Claus, Elizabeth Allen-Dick reprises her role as Sandra Calvin Claus and Devin Bright returns as Noel.
Season 2 also sees Gabriel Iglesias as Kris Kringle and Eric Stonestreet as Magnus Antas, aka The Mad Santa.
"The Santa Clauses" season 2 will be available to stream Nov. 8 on Disney+ with a two-episode premiere, followed by new episodes weekly.
