Sarah Michelle Gellar shares new photos of son Rocky, who looks just like dad Freddie Prinze Jr.
Actress Sarah Michelle Gellar is giving fans a rare glimpse of her teenage son, Rocky, who is growing up to look a lot like his famous father, Freddie Prinze Jr.
The actress shared a series of photos on Instagram documenting a family trip to the racetrack with her husband and their 14-year-old son.
“Race weekend with my boys,” Gellar captioned the post.
In one photo, Gellar poses with Rocky, who sports a buzz cut and racing gear.
Another image captures Gellar and her husband together at the track, while a third shows Rocky wearing a helmet as his go-kart undergoes an inspection.
Gellar's followers on Instagram were quick to note Rocky's likeness to his dad.
"He is Freddie Prinze Jr Jr," wrote one commenter.
"Holy Freddie genes!," wrote another.
Gellar and Prinze Jr., who met while filming the 1997 horror movie “I Know What You Did Last Summer,” married in 2002. In addition to Rocky, the couple shares a 17-year-old daughter, Charlotte.
Despite growing up with two Hollywood stars as parents, the couple’s children have largely remained out of the public eye.
Gellar has previously spoken about her and Prinze Jr.‘s efforts to protect their children’s privacy, including their decision not to allow them to have their own social media accounts.
Last month, Gellar celebrated Rocky's birthday on social media with a sweet photo of them captioned, "And then, there were two. Three years and one day later @rockyprinze came racing into our lives. I should have known from your speedy delivery, the excitement you would bring. You have no idea how lucky I feel to watch you chase your dream. You inspire not just me, but everyone around you. Happy Birthday Rocky."
