Marvel, Oreo team up for new color-changing cookie
Marvel fans, get ready for a legendary treat that's sure to satisfy your sweet tooth.
The superhero franchise is teaming up with Oreo to launch a new Stuf of Legends cookie, a first-of-its-kind treat that changes colors from gray to blue.
"This collaboration takes the iconicity of both brands and channels it into an experience where fans are not just spectators, but participants -- encouraged to immerse themselves in Super Hero-inspired play through the lens of OREO cookies," Oreo Vice President Matt Foley said in a statement.
The Stuf of Legends Oreos feature a record 32 embossments depicting beloved characters like Captain America, Black Panther, Iron Man and Jean Grey, to designs from the Avengers, Fantastic Four, Spider-Man and X-Men.
Stuf of Legends Oreos will be available for a limited time in four different package variations, and the first three designs will be on the market starting Feb. 2.
Fans can unlock and unveil the fourth package variation by scanning the QR code on Marvel Oreo Stuf of Legends cookie packs or visiting MarvelOREOStufOfLegends.com for a chance to enter a sweepstakes to win and design an at-home Marvel command center.
"Marvel fans expect epic in every moment, not just in the stories we tell, but in how they experience the brand every day," Liz Shortreed, SVP, Americas and Global Softlines at Disney Consumer Products said in another statement. "Teaming up with OREO allows us to extend Marvel's storytelling into everyday activities, transforming snack time into a fun fan moment with iconic characters and interactive digital experiences."
