This Peeps milkshake is here to make your Easter sweeter
Save some room in your Easter basket! Dylan’s Candy Bar has a new treat that every bunny will love.
The new “Chillin’ with my Peeps” milkshake is giving the store’s classic frozen treat an iconic Easter twist.
The milkshake is made in two parts and starts with a cup rimmed with frosting and sprinkles.
The bottom layer of the milkshake is strawberry ice cream, which fills half of the cup. The other half is filled with Dylan’s “circus” ice cream which is a cotton candy flavor. The two flavors together help create a pastel party perfect for Easter.
Once the shake is in the cup, it’s topped off with whipped cream, more sprinkles and a Peeps “kabob” made up of four different colored Peeps for a truly decadent finish.
Dylan’s Candy Bar put the Peeps milkshake on its social media accounts last year as a fun Easter post, but demand was so high that this year it brought it to stores for the first time.
“Peeps is such an iconic Easter treat with either the chicks or the bunnies,” Jared Cummings, general manager of Dylan’s Candy Bar at Hudson Yards, said. ”So what better way to celebrate Easter than to make a full shake dedicated to Peeps?”
The “Chillin’ with my Peeps” shake is available at locations in New York, Los Angeles and Miami from now until Easter Sunday.
