The 2020 Grammy Awards had a melancholy feel with the passing of NBA basketball star Kobe Bryant.

But with respect to the late great, there were a few celebrities who still managed to make many of us feel a soft sense of excitement with their over-the-top ensembles worn on the red carpet.

One of the absolute most standout looks of the evening came from Billy Porter and his crystallized fringe hat.
