Blake Lively took over the red carpet in a dazzling look at the screening of her new film "The Rhythm Section" in New York City Monday.

For the occasion, the actress and mother of three, 32, wore a velvet off-the-shoulder gown from designer Dolce & Gabbana with leather gloves and Christian Louboutin over-the-knee boots.

In her new action film, Lively plays Stephanie Patrick, a woman who loses her family in a plane crash and goes on a quest to avenge their deaths. The actress spoke about playing the assassin during an appearance on "Good Morning America" Tuesday.

"This movie is produced by the James Bond producers -- Barbara Broccoli -- she's amazing. But what's interesting about this is somebody was asking her about this other day, and they said, 'Would you hire a female James bond?'" Lively shared.

"And she said, 'Why would I hire a woman to tell a man's story? I'm going to hire a woman to tell a woman's story.' So this gives the answer to that," she said.

Lively also spoke about how her household has changed since welcoming her third child last year.

"It's like going from two to 3,000," she joked. "We have so many children. It's pretty crazy -- we're outnumbered and, you know, it's a lot," she said.

"People say that like from two to three it's the same, you know, it's kind of easy," she continued. "Those people do not have three kids. It is crazy."

Lively's husband, actor Ryan Reynolds, confirmed the arrival of the couple's third child in a Twitter post in October 2019.
