Christian Louboutin expands nude shoe collection for more skintones
The lack of variety when it comes to "nude" toned clothing has been an ongoing issue for many. However, there are brands such as Christian Louboutin that are finding ways to expand their offerings to fit the needs of a wider range of skintones.
In 2013, the luxury brand originally launched their Nudes shoe collection with five shades. Now, they have expanded to include eight shades in addition to adding a selection of handbags, sandals and more.
"Closer than ever to Christian's heart, the Nudes collection is and always has been an ode to inclusivity, regardless of skin color and now, of gender," the company wrote in a statement." Designed to elongate the leg, they add the perfect finish touch to any look."
The updated Louis Junior Woman Orlato Flat is a unisex sneaker has a satin upper texture along with a tone-on-tone rubber sole and Christian Louboutin's signature red bottoms.
"Looks just as good on her as it does on him," the brand wrote in an Instagram post alongside of a video of the sneakers in action.
