In 2017, Cyrus released a song titled \"Malibu,\" which was about her relationship with her now ex-husband Liam Hemsworth. The home they shared in Malibu burned down in the 2018 Woolsey Fire.

According to Cyrus' record company, the singer originally previewed \"End of the World\" during an exclusive invite-only performance at Los Angeles' Chateau Marmont in 2023.

Cyrus' album \"Something Beautiful,\" described as a \"visual album,\" is coming May 30. The accompanying film is due out in June.
