The film follows the Fantastic Four as they are \"forced to balance their roles as heroes with the strength of their family bond,\" according to its official synopsis.

\"They must defend Earth from a ravenous space god called Galactus and his enigmatic Herald, Silver Surfer,\" the synopsis continues. \"And if Galactus' plan to devour the entire planet and everyone on it weren't bad enough, it suddenly gets very personal.\"

The trailer also features a look at Julia Garner as Silver Surfer, gliding above the city on her floating surfboard.

The film is directed by Matt Shakman and co-produced by Kevin Feige and Mitch Bell. Louis D'Esposito, Grant Curtis and Tim Lewis are executive producers.
