McLean has many friends within the \"Dancing With The Stars\" family after competing on season 29 of the show alongside pro Cheryl Burke.

The duo was sent home on the ninth week of the competition -- the episode before the semifinals. Following his stint on the show, McLean opened up about how impactful the experience was.

\"I learned really quickly within the first few weeks that, yes, it's a dance competition, but there's way more to it than that,\" he shared on \"Good Morning America.\"
