The image was originally shared by the film's director, Todd Phillips, as he thanked the cast and crew for all their hard work.

\"That's a wrap. Thanks to these two (+ the entire cast) and the BEST crew that the film industry has to offer. From top to bottom. Gonna crawl into a cave now (edit room) and put it all together,\" he wrote on Instagram.

In addition to sharing the photo of Gaga, Phillips also shared a photo of Joaquin Phoenix in makeup and costume as the film's titular character -- a role which won him the best actor Oscar in 2020.

\"Joker: Folie à Deux\" is set to release in theaters on Oct. 4, 2024.
