We've all heard that a breakfast that's high in fiber and protein can give you an extra boost of energy across the morning. So what breakfast foods are really high in fiber and protein?

Give your breakfast a boost of fiber and protein with these tips from ABCNews.com:

When it comes to fiber and protein, granola seems to be a good answer. You can buy it in a health-food store or pick up a few ingredients and make your own. CLICK HERE for Dr. Marie Savard's recipe for Secret Morning Mix High-Fiber Granola.

Dr. Mary Dan Eades, author of "Protein Power," shares her recipe for Protein Power Almond-Pecan Waffles HERE, and if you're always on the go, pull out the blender and create Drs. Mehmet Oz and Michael Roizen's protein-rich Magical Breakfast Blaster.
