“She’s the perfect heroine -- focused, determined, passionate -- yet she also understands that when your parents ask you to tidy your room, you sometimes have to put your aspirations on hold while you pick up the toys off the floor,” said Valerie Garfield, the Simon Spotlight imprint’s vice president and publisher of Novelty & Licensed Publishing.
