Grammy nominations 2022: See the list of highlights

WATCH: The Grammys announce changes for 2022 awards ceremony

The nominations for the 64th annual Grammy Awards were announced on Tuesday.

Winners will be revealed during the live ceremony at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on Jan. 31, 2022. The Recording Academy has yet to announce who will host the awards show.

This year's top nominees are Jon Batiste leading the pack with 11 nominations. Close behind are Justin Bieber, Doja Cat and H.E.R. with eight apiece. Billie Eilish and Olivia Rodrigo also earned seven nominations each.

Trevor Noah hosted the 2021 Grammy Awards, which saw Beyoncé win four trophies and become the most-awarded performer in the show's history. She won her 28th Grammy that night. Legendary producer Quincy Jones is also tied with Beyoncé at 28 wins, with bluegrass singer Alison Krauss close behind with 27. Georg Solti, a prolific orchestral and operatic conductor, holds the record for number of wins at 31.

At the most recent ceremony, Taylor Swift won album of the year for "Folklore," making her the first woman to win this category three times. She also won for "Fearless" in 2010 and "1989" in 2016.

Continuing the winning streak for female artists, Billie Eilish won record of the year for "Everything I Wanted," H.E.R. won song of the year for "I Can't Breathe" and Megan Thee Stallion won best new artist.
