With such a loaded schedule, it comes as no surprise that the star, who got engaged to baseball star Alex Rodriguez in March after two years together, says there's no rush to the altar.

In a recent interview with ET, Lopez shared an update on how the wedding planning process is going.

"I think we have a pretty busy year ahead of us, so you know, we are [taking it slow]," she told the outlet. "There's no rush. We really see this as something that's gonna be forever, and we're gonna just take our time and do it right. And do it not rushed."

Lopez told the outlet that she has already started looking at dresses and locations for her big day, but "only when I have time. Most of the time I'm working."

The couple officially announced their engagement in a series of social media posts featuring the proposal, which took place during a beach vacation in March.

The couple has previously expressed how much their personalities align with each other.

“We are very much twins,” Rodriguez told Vanity Fair in December 2017. “We’re both Leos; we’re both from New York; we’re both Latino and about 20 other things.”

“I understand him in a way that I don’t think anyone else could and he understands me in a way that no one else could ever,” Lopez added.

“In his 20s, he came into big success with the biggest baseball contract [at the time]," she continued. "I had a No. 1 movie and a No. 1 album and made history. We both had ups and downs and challenges in our 30s, and by our 40s we’d both been through so much. And more importantly than anything, we had both done a lot of work on ourselves.”
