Kelly Ripa is officially an empty nester.
The "Live With Kelly and Ryan" host shared a photo of herself on the couch with her husband, Mark Consuelos, after their youngest child left for college.
"So far we are crushing this empty nest thing," she captioned the shot.
Her oldest child, 24-year-old Michael, commented: "I had almost no doubt."
Ripa and Consuelos, both 50, have three children: Michael; Lola, 20; and Joaquin, who turned 18 in February. In March, the University of Michigan shared that Joaquin had committed to the school and would be a member of the wrestling team. Meanwhile, Michael is working in the entertainment industry and Lola is a student at New York University.
"Third kid is the best kid," Ripa joked in 2019. "They sleep, they do their homework, they pick their crap up off the floor. ... They just know they've got to give you a break."
