"Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star Dorit Kemsley was robbed in her Los Angeles-area home on Wednesday night, ABC News has confirmed.

The suspects, described by the Los Angeles Police Department as three men between the ages of 20 and 30, confronted Kemsley in bed and, claiming to be armed, ordered her to show them to her valuables, according to a law enforcement source with direct knowledge of the investigation.

The source added that Kemsley's children were also in the home at the time.

Police said the suspects escaped with handbags, jewelry and watches; the source said the items were worth about $1 million.

Kemsley has not released a statement about the home invasion and no arrests have been made.

Kemsley is not the first member of the "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" cast to be a victim of this type of crime. Almost four years ago, "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star Kyle Richards' home in Encino, the same neighborhood where Kemsley lives, was burglarized while she was on vacation.

The reality TV star told People in 2018 that "everything was taken."

"Everything my mother, who passed away, had ever collected and saved to give to me -- that I had always envisioned of passing on to my four daughters -- was gone. Even my children's baby bracelets. Obviously, those are the things that hurt the most, things that I can't replace. They're completely invaluable," she said.

"The material things, yes they can be replaced, but they also hurt," she continued. "I feel embarrassed to say that, but those are things that were either given to me by someone that I care about or that I worked really hard for. So, it hurts no matter what."
