We've all encountered stubborn stains that have put an end to a favorite piece of clothing or furniture. Mildew stains are among the worst offenders.
But does mildew on the shower curtain liner mean that it has to go, too?
Not so fast. Home cleaning experts say mildew can be removed and your shower curtain liner restored to its former pristine condition.
Here's the trick: You should wash the liner in a mixture of soap and bleach. Depending on your type of liner, you may even be able to launder it in your washing machine.

Did you know that the best way to clean mirrors is to use warm water and soft, lint-free cloths? ShopSmart magazine recommends that you wipe the mirror with a damp cloth and dry it immediately with the other cloth. Avoid cleaners with acid, alkali or ammonia; those could damage the mirror's coating. Also, keep liquid away from the mirror's edge.
