Selena Gomez is a singer, actress and someone who knows how to get glammed up.

The 29-year-old "Only Murders in the Building" actress recently revealed her going-out makeup routine in a less than 15-minute video for her second appearance on Vogue Beauty Secrets.

While positioned in front of a floral print backdrop and sporting a pulled-back ponytail, she began the video by lighting a candle before starting on her beauty regimen. She also dapped a few drops of patchouli essential oil on her wrists.

To begin, she applied Sephora's cucumber eye masks under each eye to help get rid of any inflammation. "My sister has like 18 of these. She's probably more of the beauty guru now, and she's 8 years old," said Gomez.

The Rare Beauty founder started with cleansing her skin for a clean canvas. She went on to explain how working out is actually the most important part of her beauty routine.

"As miserable as it can be for me, I think it helps me mentally," she says in the video. It helps me physically of course, but it just keeps me in a good headspace. That is something that I think is part of a beauty routine, and it should be."

Gomez moved on to applying makeup beginning with a foundation. She also played up her eyes with rouge-toned eyeshadow and winged eyeliner.

"The cat-eye look for me happened when I got a little older," said Gomez. "I love the way that it shapes my eyes when I wear my hair up. It also really kind of gives me the snatched look if you will."

She finished her eye look with a few sweeps of mascara -- which she admits the look wouldn't be complete without.

While Gomez has her going-out makeup routine down, she also revealed one of her past makeup mishaps during the 2018 Met Gala.

She tried a tanning lotion and recalls how it kept getting darker and darker throughout the night.

"I look at a photo of myself when I sit down and I'm completely orange," she says while chuckling.

With her past experience and before applying bronzer, she warned fans toward the end of the video that she just uses a little.

Gomez finished the look by applying Rare Beauty's Lip Souffle Matte Cream Lipstick in a mauve-toned shade and a little extra color to her eyes.

She also had an update for those wondering if the superstar -- who appears in the video with her natural, darker brunette hair -- will be going back to the bright blonde she was spotted wearing for the past few months.

"I think I'm definitely more of a character when I'm blonde," said Gomez. "I felt like I could do crazy looks with my hair."

"I don't know, I felt so cool and edgy," Gomez added. "It was just a whole phase that I went through. I'm honestly missing it, not gonna lie."
