Hulu has revealed the first trailer for the limited series, "The Dropout," starring Amanda Seyfried as Elizabeth Holmes.

"The Dropout," based on ABC News correspondent Rebecca Jarvis' award-winning podcast, follows the rise and fall of Holmes, the world’s youngest self-made female billionaire and founder of Theranos.

Holmes, 38, a Stanford dropout, had vowed to revolutionize the health care industry with technology that could run any test from a just a few drops of blood. But the technology all turned out to be a lie. Holmes was convicted of defrauding investors in January 2022 in a rare criminal takedown of a Silicon Valley CEO.

Naveen Andrews plays former Theranos President Sunny Balwani, while William H. Macy, Laurie Metcalf, Alan Ruck, Stephan Fry, Elizabeth Marvel, Michael Ironside and Kate Burton also star in the series.

"The Dropout" hits Hulu on March 3. Watch the drama-filled trailer above.
