Alright, alright, alright! Matthew McConaughey joins Instagram

For Matthew McConaughey's 50th birthday, the actor gave the internet the gift of his brand new Instagram account.

The 50-year-old actor-turned-newly-minted professor took to Twitter earlier Monday to announce his presence on the platform and the name of his handle, @officiallyMcConaughey.

His first post is a video describing his new "venture into sharing (his) self and (his) views with the world."
