Amanda Kloots posted a heartbreaking tribute to her late husband Nick Cordero on what would've been his 42nd birthday on Thursday.

"My angel in heaven is celebrating his birthday today," the Broadway star's widow wrote in an Instagram post. "Happy 42nd Birthday baby 🎊 I bet you’re having quite the celebration up there, probably singing to everyone."

"Elvis and I will be singing here on earth to you," Kloots added in the message to her husband, mentioning their 1-year-son.

In honor of Cordero's 42nd birthday, Kloots shared several photos and reflected on his birthday celebration last year. Her husband died on July 5 after facing complications from COVID-19 for three months.

Cordero previously wrote and recorded one verse and and the chorus of the song, and Kloots later added her vocals to finish the track for him.

The fitness trainer said listening to the song has made her feel "closer" to her late husband and given her "a lot of comfort these last few days."

"I hope that if you’ve experienced loss it will help you too," she added.
