Garth Brooks appeared on "Good Morning America" Thursday and spilled some details on the new music he has in store for fans and his new Tailgate Radio station.

When asked about his highly anticipated upcoming duets album, the award-winning country artist teased the new material but promised that he'll still perform the classics for fans.

"We got a lot of new music coming out this fall," he shared. "So, we've been off for a while -- we had the comeback tour, then the stadium tour and now we've got set in this residency, which allows you kind of to get in the studio, which is fun."

He continued, "We've got some new music coming out and [are] mixing it with the old stuff. 'Cause my thing is, too many times we go to concerts and somebody drops a whole new record on us and doesn't play the old stuff. We're very proud of our old stuff, so anywhere we go, even with the new stuff, we'll bring the old stuff with us."

Brooks hasn't yet shared a release date for the upcoming album. He's currently performing in his massively successful Las Vegas residency, "Garth Brooks Plus One," at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace.

He said his favorite part of the residency, which kicked off in May, is that everyone is "there for music."

"Right now it seems like everything is so -- either divided left or right or whatever -- but when it comes to music, we all kind of are from the same family. So that's what the Caesars residency kind of focuses on."

"No lasers, no trapeze, no nothing -- that's for other shows in Vegas," he continued. "For us, we just focus on the music. The people come in, they sing, they kind of take it over. And the next thing you know, you don't know what the next song is -- nobody's got control of the ship. But wherever you're going, you're going there together and you're having a good time doing it. So that's the fun of it."

While appearing on "GMA" the singer also spoke about his new radio station, Tailgate Radio, which will bring a wide variety of music genres to fans during the 2023 college football season.

Brooks said the station, which will be hosted by Maria Taylor, allows listeners to "take the weekend off."

"For any football game, any pool party, kids soccer parties, just playing around poker with your buddies on the weekend, you just say, 'Hey Alexa, play Tailgate Radio on TuneIn,'" he said. "All the sudden here comes your party mix, with over 2,500 songs on their list -- you're never going to hear the same one twice, but they're all gonna be upbeat."

The station will also feature celebrity and athlete guest host takeovers.

Brooks previously launched The BIG 615, hosted by Storme Warren and part of his SEVENS Radio network, in June.

"What we want to do is we want to take country music global," Brooks told "GMA." "The country music audience [is the] most loving, loyal audience you can ever have. We pull all them together around the world."
