January is going to be so fetch because "Mean Girls: The Musical" will be heading to the big screen.

On Tuesday, Paramount announced that the film adaptation of the "Mean Girls" musical will land in theaters Jan. 12, 2024.

News of the upcoming film's release date was shared by "Mean Girls" and Paramount on Instagram on Oct. 3 -- a nod to one of Lindsay Lohan's iconic lines from the original 2004 film.

"Senior Year" and "Spider-Man: Homecoming" actress Angourie Rice has been tapped to fill the role Lohan originated, Cady Heron, the daughter of a pair of anthropologists who finds herself transplanted from the wilds of Africa into the social jungle of a typically cliquey Chicago high school.

Reneé Rapp, who played Rachel McAdams' character Regina George -- the head of the clique The Plastics -- on Broadway, is reprising the role for the musical movie, as previously reported. The cast also will star "Moana's" Auli'i Cravalho as Janis, played by Lizzy Caplan in the movie.

Another "Mean Girls" Broadway vet, Jaquel Spivey, will reprise his musical role as Damien. Damien, Janis' bestie, was played by Daniel Franzese in the 2004 film.

Fey, who also appeared in the original "Mean Girls" film, penned the script for the movie musical. She will appear in this version, too, along with "The Office" star Jenna Fischer and "Cougar Town" star Busy Philipps.

In related news, Paramount is hosting a live watch party of the original film Tuesday, Oct. 3 at 7 p.m. ET on the studio's TikTok account, @ParamountPics.

The "Mean Girls" musical opened on Broadway in April 2018 at the August Wilson Theatre and ran for 833 performances before the curtain finally fell on March 11, 2020 -- the day before the COVID pandemic officially shuttered the Great White Way.
