Joe Jonas had a quick-witted response for baseball fans confused by the performance he and his brothers gave during Game 2 of the 2025 World Series between the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Toronto Blue Jays.

"Why these guys," Jonas commented on an Instagram post from Major League Baseball announcing the Jonas Brothers at the Oct. 25 game at Rogers Centre in Toronto.

The post featured a video and photo of Nick Jonas, Joe Jonas and Kevin Jonas, who performed their song "I Can't Lose" after the game's fifth inning.

The Jonas Brothers' performance was part of a Stand Up To Cancer tribute, during which players, coaches, fans and even the Jonas Brothers held up signs honoring loved ones affected by cancer.

The brothers held up a sign honoring their dad, Kevin Jonas Sr., who is a cancer survivor, according to MLB.

Some baseball fans took to social media in the aftermath of the group's performance to express their disappointment at the Jonas Brothers interrupting the World Series game.

"Sorry this isn't the Super Bowl, there is no half time show. So ridiculous," one commenter wrote beneath the MLB Instagram post.

"You stopped the game for a performance?" wrote another.
