Kensington Palace is sharing new photos a week after Kate, the Princess of Wales, climbed the three highest mountains in the United Kingdom in 24 hours, a feat known as the National Three Peaks Challenge.

In an Instagram post shared Sunday, Kate, 44, can be seen hugging and celebrating with her family, including her husband Prince William and the couple's three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.

Kate's brother James Middleton revealed in his own Instagram post Sunday that he also completed the Three Peaks Challenge, climbing Ben Nevis in Scotland, Scafell Pike in England, and Snowdon in Wales -- ascending over 10,000 feet in the three climbs -- alongside his sister.

In the caption of the post, Middleton wrote that he was "so incredibly proud" of his sister.

"Two years ago, I told you we'd climb this mountain together. We talked about climbing mountains while you were in hospital, and about the incredible healing power that nature can have for both the body and the mind," Middleton wrote. "So it was such an honour to join you for your Three Peaks Challenge for the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity."

"Seeing how far you've come is nothing short of inspiring," he added. "Your strength, resilience, and determination, all while being the most amazing mother, wife, daughter, and sister, inspire me and so many others every single day. Keep being exactly who you are."

The siblings' parents, Carole and Michael Middleton, were also present in Sunday's photos, posing for a family snapshot following the challenge.

Kate completed the Three Peaks Challenge just under 18 months after announcing she was in remission following treatment for an undisclosed type of cancer.

In an Instagram post on June 28, she wrote that she had completed the challenge "to raise awareness for the deeper impact of serious illness and the importance of holistic healthcare."

She added that she took on the challenge in support of The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity, the same hospital where she received her own cancer treatment.

Both Kate and William are patrons of The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust.

"Healing, whether personal or collective, is not just about fixing what is wrong. It is about finding balance in how we live. Between effort and acceptance, between control and trust, between thinking and simply being," she wrote in the caption of her June 28 post, which featured a photo of her at the summit of Ben Nevis. "Because in the end, bravery isn't just about pushing forward. It is about knowing how to stay grounded, connected and present, no matter the terrain or landscape you are walking."
