Sydney Sweeney honored Hollywood actress Kim Novak on the Met Gala carpet Monday night.

The "Euphoria" and "Anyone But You" star stunned in a black beaded gown by Miu Miu

Sweeney's dress, which was similar to one Novak wore in the 1968 film "The Legend of Lylah Clare," had fringe tassels on the sleeves and a peekaboo neckline accented with a gold brooch.

Sweeney shared a black-and-white photo of Novak in the gown on her Instagram story ahead of the Met Gala.

This year's Met Gala marked Sweeney's fourth time attending the event. She said on the carpet that it's her third time attending the event with Miu Miu.

"This is actually paying homage to Kim Novak, and I'm doing a movie with Colman Domingo, so we wanted to really just bring that to life," she said, speaking with Vogue.

Sweeney and Domingo are currently working together on the film "Scandalous," which follows the real-life short-lived relationship between Novak and singer and actor Sammy Davis Jr.

Novak's dress was also featured in the 1937 film, "The Bride Wore Red." Actress Joan Crawford wore a red version gown in that film.
