Prince William, Kate Middleton's daughter Princess Charlotte turns 11
Princess Charlotte, the middle child and only daughter of Prince William and Kate, the Princess of Wales, is celebrating her 11th birthday on Saturday.
Charlotte was born on May 2, 2015 at St. Mary's Hospital in London, where both her older brother, Prince George, and younger brother, Prince Louis, were also born.
As William and Kate's second child, Charlotte is third in line to the throne, behind her father and older brother George.

Like her brothers, Charlotte now attends Lambrook School, a prep school for children ages 3-13 near the family's home in Windsor, England.
Charlotte is expected to spend her birthday privately with her family.
The Wales family was last seen publicly on Easter Sunday, when they attended church at St. George's Chapel with other members of the royal family.

Charlotte's birthday falls just a few days after William and Kate celebrated their 15th wedding anniversary on April 29. To mark the anniversary, Kensington Palace shared a new photo of the family of five posing with their two dogs.
Her birthday also falls close to the birthday of her brother, Louis, who turned 8 on April 23. George will celebrate his 13th birthday on July 22.
On Charlotte's birthday last year, William and Kate shared a photo of their daughter smiling while wearing a backpack and a camouflage jacket and sitting outside with mountains in the background.
