Taylor Swift is opening up on her love life, new music and more.

The superstar joined SiriusXM's "The Morning Mash Up" for an interview that aired Monday, covering a wide-range of topics just days after the release of her 12th studio album, "The Life of a Showgirl," and weeks after her engagement to fiance Travis Kelce.

Swift said recording "The Life of a Showgirl" was "reinvigorating" for her in many ways, including allowing her to continue performing at a high level during her Eras Tour.

Swift said she was growing tired during her grueling tour schedule, and the album allowed her to exercise "a different type of muscle."

"What it ended up doing was like reinvigorating every single aspect of my life, including the tour," Swift added.

The 14-time Grammy winner also provided an update on her dad, who underwent a quintuple bypass surgery this year.

"He's doing amazing," Swift said, later adding that "the biggest part of our summer was as a family, just taking care of him and getting him back to his old self."

Swift also thanked the medical team who cared for her father throughout his recovery.

Elsewhere in the interview, Swift discussed her parents' reaction to the new album, including her mom's understanding of the hotly discussed risqué song "Wood."

"I think that she thinks that that song is about superstitions, popular superstitions, which it absolutely is," she said. "You see in that song what you want to see in that song."

Discussing her own enjoyment of her work, Swift said, "I've honestly, like, never had so much fun making a record, and I've never had so much fun, like, listening to a record I've made."

She added, "It really matches where I am in my life in such a precise and exact way and just like kind of feels good to have on."

Swift also talked about a July 2023 Instagram post featuring Selena Gomez, in which Swift had penned the caption, "Happy belated Independence Day from your local neighborhood independent girlies 😎 See you tonight Kansas Cityyy."

She noted the irony looking back on the post, between Kelce attending her Kansas City tour stop that month and Gomez beginning her relationship with her now-husband Benny Blanco that same summer.

"It's crazy," she said. "If we break it down, like, I'm in this picture with a bunch of girls, a lot, not just me and Selena. A few of the other girls found their person right after that."

Swift went on to describe Gomez on her recent wedding day as "not just the most beautiful bride, just, like, the most beautiful thing I've ever seen."

"Just so happy, and she deserves it so much," Swift said of Gomez.

Swift finished the interview by discussing falling in love with Kelce, who turned 36 on Sunday.

"He's one of those people where as soon as you meet him, you kind of know he's the best, and you kind of know there's no one else on the planet that's ever been even remotely similar to him," she said. "He's like one of one."
